We launched our fist website over 20 years ago, back in the day of dial-up, little red dot .gifs for accent, swirly blue repeating .jpg backgrounds, when 4 pages of content was a robust site. Everything was in-house, and was originally hand-coded on a DOS word processor. But times changed, the website grew, and after using one web company for a while, we found Justia. I have used Justia since 2009 for my website's service and design. I have multiple websites and two blogs and Justia continuously goes above and beyond with the service they offer and their communication with my staff. Phone and email inquiries are always answered quickly (even if it's just to say that they received my request and that they are working on it). Besides helping lawyers and the general public easily find free legal web sites and information, it also provides many other incredible resources--many of them free, from their free daily court opinion and free weekly practice area newsletters, that help you keep up to date; to their free blog and tweet directories, which can be browsed or keyword searched. The blog and tweet directories are superb resources for learning about hot legal issues when there hasn't been time for anyone to write an article or book on the issue and for finding out who are the expert lawyers in almost any legal field if you need to hire a lawyer, refer a matter to a lawyer, or find co-counsel. The site also offers great free resources for law students (e.g., outlines) and business people (info about business formation, employment laws, etc.). Although not free, Justia's web marketing services help lawyers market better and help consumers find the right lawyer--with Justia-built web sites (including mine), Justia's SEO services, and Justia's lawyer directory.

Excellent company! I used three prior companies that claimed to be able to assist with SEO and with my website. They were a disappointment, until I found Justia. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I tried calling their number listed and spoke to a flat out incompetent person whose name was "Jasmine" as she laughed and was very immature and unprofessional. How do you have someone answering the phones of your company who can't help you with a problem? Then, the next time I called, "Jasmine" was tired of telling me things that she obviously has no control over (i.e. Doesn't have a boss, doesn't have a superior, doesn't have a webmaster, doesn't have a phone number to get in touch with someone else), so "Stephanie" gave it a go. "Stephanie" was more understanding of the situation but still incompetent. I don't understand how you can publish things about someone on your website, but you don't have a webmaster that can correct something when you're in the wrong. I was told, "Sir, if you're going to continue to harass us than we are going to be slower at our jobs, causing your issue to be slower in being resolved." Harass???? You're harassing me by having something on your website that comes up in a google search that isn't supposed to be published! It clearly states that on the bottom of the order! Completely baffled of the stupidity in this company.

JUSTIA - GREAT ON PROMISE, ZERO FOR DELIVERY STAY AWAY FROM THEM Great foreplay. Could not have asked for better initial contacts. As soon after I signed the agreement with Justia problems arose. The communication with Justia was terrible. The people I spoke with at Justia gave poor directions, and I was required to do tasks that were never noted at the outset. It took months for the website to launch. There were problems and problems. When I provided criticism, Justia support got defense. When I provided Justia support with a critique from other web analyzers, Justia attacked the source; Justia never dealt witht he problem. By the time it was over, Justia failed to respond to any critiques and any complaints. Justia's only solution was to have me speak to someone in charge. When I asked for the agenda, I was never give one. I even posted the problems on Facebook to Stacy Stern, the person who recruited me; She never responded. Incidentally, I spoke to some of Justia's support staff and I could not understand their English so much so that I had to demand that they put their remarks and instructions in writing. In my nest to the last email to Justia support - I noted the following to which I never received a response: The more I talk to others about the site, the more others analyze your product, the more I am convinced that you folks are incompetent. Your defensive and non-explanatory attitude to my complaints and feedback is an example of your inadequate communication and a material failure to abide by your representations and contractual promises. It behooves me that I was required to speak to some of your folks whose remarks and language I could not understand. It is incredible that I was so frustrated with the language deficit that I was forced to ask these folks to write down what they were saying because of this linguistic abyss. And even with the written conversion, I was often at a loss. Your foreplay is fantastic, but your delivery sucks. I have lost time, money and energy as a result of your corporate and personal stupidity. I simply cannot believe that you folks survive as a business entity given my experience with you. My only respite is that my tenure with you folks is about to end. Other than that, I will deal with the consequences of your malfeasance later.
