This agency serves law firms as one of several industries it works with.
How we score →On The Map Marketing is a Miami-based digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, web design, PPC, and content marketing for law firms, home service companies, and healthcare providers. With over 300 clients nationwide and a team of 50+ professionals, they deliver results-driven local search marketing campaigns using proprietary tracking technology and holistic strategies tailored to competitive markets.
On The Map Marketing is a Miami-based digital marketing agency with a client base spanning law firms, home service companies, and healthcare providers, backed by a team of more than 50 people and over 300 active clients nationwide. Within legal, the agency’s practice-area experience spans personal injury, criminal defense, family law, immigration, and workers’ compensation — a broad footprint that suggests scale rather than a narrow specialty.
The agency’s core legal offering is local SEO, built around Google Business Profile optimization and Google Maps visibility, supported by web design, content marketing, technical SEO audits, link building, and PPC including Google Local Services Ads. A distinguishing feature is TrackRight, the agency’s proprietary tracking tool, which gives clients ongoing visibility into rankings, conversions, and traffic rather than relying solely on periodic manual reports. Published pricing puts professional SEO campaigns in the $3,000–$5,000+ monthly range, with local SEO packages for smaller practices starting lower — a level of pricing transparency that’s more specific than most competitors in this category publish.
Web design work sits alongside SEO rather than as a separate product line, with several reviewers describing full site rebuilds handled by the same team managing their ongoing search campaigns. That bundled structure can simplify vendor management for a firm that wants one point of contact for both, though it also means a breakdown in one part of the relationship — billing or account management, for instance — can affect every service at once rather than being contained to a single workstream.
This is the most polarized review record among comparable agencies, and the split is worth understanding before signing anything. On one side, a large group of clients — many multi-year — describe strong, specific outcomes: ranking movement, lead volume growth, and responsive account management from named reps including Andrew, Kara, Kalia, Rachel, and Gabie. These reviewers consistently describe proactive communication, regular check-ins, and account managers who flag problems (including Google algorithm shifts) before the client has to ask.
On the other side is a substantial cluster of serious complaints, concentrated more heavily in recent reviews than older ones. Multiple clients describe being charged after they say the relationship had ended, including one report of roughly $92,000 in disputed dues and several smaller but similarly described billing disputes that required disputing charges through a bank. Several reviewers connect a decline in service quality directly to a private-equity acquisition, describing lost account managers, unreturned calls, and, in one case, a website that stayed down for an extended period with no resolution. One reviewer describes a hacked website that the agency reportedly didn’t notice or respond to until the client raised it directly, resulting in real cost to the business.
Reading across the full set, a pattern emerges: reviewers who name a specific, still-engaged account manager report strong results and service, while reviewers describing account abandonment, billing disputes, or a company-wide service decline tend to reference recent timing or an ownership change. That’s not a guarantee of what any individual firm will experience, but it’s a meaningfully different signal than a typical five-star agency review page.
On The Map can be a reasonable fit for firms that get matched with one of the account managers who show up repeatedly and specifically in positive reviews, and for firms mainly interested in the local SEO and tracking-transparency angle backed by the TrackRight tool. The published pricing ranges also make it easier to budget against compared with agencies that only quote custom pricing after a sales call.
Given the volume and specificity of recent billing and service-decline complaints, firms considering On The Map should treat contract terms — cancellation process, what happens to billing after a stated end date, and who owns the account and site if the relationship ends — as non-negotiable items to confirm in writing before signing, not afterward. Firms that have low tolerance for account-manager turnover, or that want assurance the vendor they’re evaluating today is the same company culturally that generated the older five-star reviews, should ask directly about the ownership structure and how recent client-facing changes have gone. This is not a firm to select purely off aggregate star rating without reading the specific, recent complaints first. See how it compares in our ranking of the best local SEO agencies for lawyers and our picks for immigration practice marketing.
On The Map Marketing's reviews are sharply polarized. Satisfied clients, many multi-year, repeatedly praise specific account managers — Andrew, Kara, Kalia, Rachel, and Gabie are named most often — for responsiveness, SEO/PPC results, and proactive communication. However, a substantial cluster of recent reviews describes serious account-management and billing problems: continued credit-card charges after cancellation, unresponsive support following a private-equity acquisition, an unresolved $92,000 payment dispute, and a hacked website the agency reportedly failed to address. Several reviewers who once praised the company describe a sharp decline in service quality and staff turnover coinciding with the ownership change. The split suggests outcomes vary heavily by assigned account manager, and that recent experiences trend notably worse than older ones.
I have never dealt with a more dishonest agency in the digital marketing industry than the 'On the Map Internet Marketing' Team. This company currently owes us roughly $92,000 in unpaid dues that have been pending for over an entire year. Not because the work wasn’t completed. Not because there was any dispute. Simply because they kept lying, delaying, and dodging payment while continuing to use our SEO services for their own clients. The people running this operation — Jerome Mallory, Chris Meadows, Damen Seminero, Gary Li, Brian King — should honestly be ashamed of themselves. Every interaction became another fabricated story about why the payment was delayed yet again. They kept stringing us along with fake assurances just long enough to keep us from escalating the issue publicly. Meanwhile, they continued onboarding clients, selling SEO retainers, and presenting themselves as a legitimate agency while refusing to pay vendors who were actually delivering the results. After the 'Brightworks Digital' and 'Cloud Equity' involvement, things became even more pathetic. They stopped responding properly, ignored invoices, and eventually disappeared whenever payment discussions came up. Completely spineless behavior. The funniest part? They think vendors will just sit quietly forever while they pocket money and play corporate games. We built links and SEO assets for over 100 of their clients. If those links disappear, let’s see how long their rankings survive. To anyone thinking of partnering with 'On the Map Internet Marketing,' 'Brightworks Digital,' or 'Cloud Equity:' Save yourself the financial damage and avoid them completely. These people are not professionals. They are serial non-payers hiding behind agency branding and fake corporate language. THEY ARE ALL FRAUDS AND YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
These people have stolen $2500 from me despite saying our business relationship had concluded and no further billing would occur. We will be escalating this with the proper authorities
This company is no longer functioning. No calls returned, no emails returned. Purchased by a private equity firm, fired it's staff and no longer renders services. It will gladly take your money, however. I recommend you pass if you are considering doing business. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD
I was a former client of theirs three yrs ago. They performed no work for me over the last two years. Won’t pick up the phone or call me back. But out of the blue after two years, they charged both my credit card and my bank account for money. I disputed it with the bank and showed them the proof and it got refunded. I would say at this point something is super fishy with this company, I would be highly weary.
Do NOT hire this company!! In the last year something happened. They stopped answering calls and ignored my website change requests. Then our emails were deactivated. We canceled and hired a new marketing company. But On the Map kept charging our credit card!!! I had to cancel the card to stop them and now months after canceling, they are saying we have an outstanding balance!!
We hired On The Map for about a year. Things started off fine and there were no issues at the time we ended the relationship. Unfortunately, things declined from there. Communication became inconsistent, then nonexistent. Our account was clearly not being managed, and our previously strong online presence suffered as a result. The bigger issue, however, came after we terminated the relationship in November. Despite no longer working together, they continued charging our credit card. Not once or twice, but repeatedly, along with additional large charge attempts that our bank flagged as fraud. When we blocked their company from charging our card, the charges began coming through under different names or entities. We were ultimately forced to shut down a primary business credit card just to stop it, and we are now working with our bank to recover the funds. Poor service is frustrating. Continuing to charge a former client and finding new ways to do it is something else entirely. Proceed with extreme caution.
Be very weary of working with On The Map. We had a website with them for 5+ years but the moment we tried to cancel our service, they make it very hard to break off your relationship. From their communication they seem friendly and understandable but they will continue to charge your card. They will offer refunds on payments but after 4 months of trying to cancel we are still being charged. Our card changed and they asked for a new card to refund, but instead of refunding they just charged us again. If you plan to work with them anticipate them charging you well beyond cancellation. We’ve spoken with billing, their CEO who subsequently left the company and more staff and it seems impossible to rectify. We’re incredibly frustrated because we thought they were a respectable business.
Throughout our three-year relationship, there were multiple significant billing issues. In addition, there were instances where Google warned that my account could be paused, yet On The Map was unable to provide an explanation or resolution. After engaging a new marketing firm, it became clear that these issues could have been addressed with relatively straightforward corrective actions. There were also several smaller, recurring problems over time. While their performance was acceptable at the outset, the quality of their work declined progressively, ultimately leading me to terminate the relationship. Four months after ending our engagement, I was billed again without authorization. I was forced to contact my bank and initiate a chargeback to reverse the transaction.
As a law firm, we’ve worked with several marketing companies over the years, but none have come close to the results we’ve experienced with On the Map. We’ve been a client for over 4 years, and the impact on our firm has been nothing short of exceptional. From an SEO performance standpoint, they’ve completely transformed our online visibility. We now rank #1 for many of our most important high priority keywords, and our firm consistently dominates the Google Business Profile map pack in our market. That visibility has translated directly into what matters most—a massive increase in consultation volume and qualified leads. The ROI has been incredible. Our intake team has seen a steady flow of new potential clients coming directly from organic search and Google Maps. In fact, the growth in consultation requests has been so significant that we’ve had to expand staff just to keep up. Beyond the results, what really sets this agency apart is their account management and professionalism. Communication is always clear and proactive. Deliverables are consistently on time, strategies are explained in a way that makes sense, and they’re constantly bringing new ideas to improve performance. If you’re a law firm looking for real SEO results—not just reports and promises—this is the agency you want in your corner. After four years of working together, I can confidently say they’ve been one of the best business decisions our firm has made.
I have been with on the map for over a decade. Last year OTM was bought out by a private equity group. Since that time services have fallen off a cliff. All of a sudden I didn't have a customer service manager assigned to me (without them telling me), and my site was no longer being worked on. Since last October my site has been constantly down and I have reached out to OTM with no response. They claim they fix it only for it to be working for a day and then back down for several week. And the only reason they knew it was down was because I would tell them. OTM's failure to get my site fixed led to Google de-indexing it, killing years of my hard work to get it up in the rankings. It got so bad that a member of their senior management, Chris Meadows, reached out claiming it would be fixed and I would get a refund, only for him to ignore my texts, calls, and emails when the site was down (and of course no refund). I cannot begin to say what a disappointment this company has become. I would have recommended OTM to anyone several years ago. Now? Forget it.
Updated Review: This team is constantly late on delivering services. I have to stay on top of them like white on rice in order to get what was included in our contract in a timely manner. My account manager doesn't actually know anything about SEO. I feel like I'm being managed by a zookeeper. They aren't proactive on addressing red flags and wait for me to bring it up. I know they have all the capabilities necessary to do an outstanding job. It just feels like they give my account no attention.
Editing my review because we discontinued website service with On the Map, BUT they have CONTINUED to CHARGE our debit card despite repeated requests to STOP CHARGING US.
Anthony Quintero was friendly and helpful getting my website back up and running. Thanks Anthony and on the map.
We've been working with On The Map for over a year now. They are experts in their craft, good people, and work hard to deliver great results. Highly recommend giving them a try!
Poor customer service....lack of response...our website was hacked and they never new it until we reached out to them. Cost the business thousands of dollars. They still did nothing to assist us and recovered the website in such a way that not even google could connect. We had to hire an entirely new firm to resolve the matter. We have asked for refund(s) and crickets.....no response. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Overall, the campaign has been a clear success. We’ve seen strong performance and consistent results that align well with our goals. One area that has stood out in particular is the team’s responsiveness to changes in the Google algorithm. Anytime there have been shifts or issues, the team has been quick to identify the problem and diligent in correcting it. Their proactive approach and attention to detail have ensured our visibility and momentum remain strong. Great work, and thank you for your continued dedication.

If you’re looking for a reliable and talented developer who genuinely cares about his clients, Anthony is the one to call. Highly recommended!
I had the good fortune of having Kara Kelley as my representative at On The Map. This was after many years of really bad SEO results from three prior prominent agencies. She and her team are hands down the most knowledgeable SEO people around. They got me to page one for multiple search terms in perhaps the most competitive field possible and most importantly, did so in just a few months. I can't say enough great things about Kara and her team. Do yourself a favor and call them sooner than later!
Andrew and his team have been wonderful to work with. We have already seen improvements in our ranking !
We've used On the Map for two of our agency clients. The work has been stellar, and results have been great and quick. Highly recommend.
I have been incredibly impressed by the knowledge, customer service, competency, and flexibility of the company and its staff! Kara, especially, has been incredible to work with showing patience and understanding as I try to absorb all the technical information she gives me in reports and through advice. I have worked with quite a few marketing companies in my life, but so far, On the Map is the best at providing thoughtful feedback, proactive planning, and strategic implementation to make our marketing budget be the most beneficial.
We have been impressed with the knowledge and attention provided by OnTheMap, especially Kara our account manager. She's the best!
A longtime partner and an organization committed to excellence. A resource for any business seeking to gain exposure and traction in the market.
Disappointing experience. We had a terrible experience with OTM. Their customer service was consistently unresponsive and unhelpful, making it impossible to resolve issues in a timely manner. Despite multiple attempts to get things on track, we were left feeling neglected and frustrated. Ultimately, we had no choice but to switch to a new company. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable support.
A++++ I have been going through a lot of frustration with my website's SEO and overall performance. I needed deep analysis and help, but time was crucial. To be honest, I was losing patience; every time I received an answer, I kept running into walls. However, one person stood out with her kindness and patience: Kalia. She truly helped me believe in the process. I highly recommend working with her.
Our design firm has been partnering with On The Map for a few years now after being referred to them by another client. They are phenomenal. They rebuilt my website and do SEO, and the results are staggering. Gabie and the team at OTM are so knowledgeable and can truly transform any company's online presence. I highly recommend On The Map.

On The Map has been a gamechanger for my law firm. I have concrete results directly attributable to their SEO efforts. They know what they're doing, and they adapt strategies and hold themselves accountable before I even have to think about it. If I could hire my Senior Account Manager, Rachel, to work for me, I would in a heartbeat! Her diligence and follow-through are exceptional, and she always has solutions and ideas to present. I have been a happy customer for a couple years, and I see no end to continuing to retain them to help grow my business. Thank you for all you do!
